How do I apply?
You must first become a member of Manchester Credit Union and set up a payment into your savings account.

If you have not yet registered for your on-line account but would like to do so before you apply for a loan you can register here.
Thereís no need to make an appointment - just call into your local branch and complete an Application Form.
What evidence will I need to provide?
Loan applications will be considered by a loan officer. In deciding whether or not to provide a loan, we will take into account your record of savings with the credit union and any previous loan repayments, as well as your ability to repay. We may therefore ask you to provide evidence of your financial situation which enables us to make a detailed analysis of your income and expenditure.
This could include:
- Proof of Income
- Your most recent bank statement, or your most recent Post Office statement.
- If you wish to take your partnerís income into consideration, then please provide the same documentation for them as well.
Providing the correct information will result in a quicker turnaround of your application.
