Important Information about ENGAGE
If you have an ENGAGE card, please read the important information below.
We’ve received notice that the Engage Card product is being closed down. We want to let members know and to make you aware of your options.
MCU and Engage Account users have been informed that Engage has recently been acquired by Suits Me Limited www.suitsmecard.com.
Engage has provided pre-paid cards to members of Credit Unions across the country. Sadly the closure of this product is out of our hands. You can learn more at https://engageaccount.com/
This means that unless you choose to close your account during the 60-day notice period provided by Engage, your account balance will be transferred to a new Suits Me card and account on Monday 13th January 2025.
Suits Me have confirmed that they will place each customer on the most cost-effective of their three pricing plans, based on historical usage. Additionally, for the first three months with Suits Me, the fees will not exceed what you would have paid under Engage.

Please note that Suits Me is not a part of Manchester Credit Union, and we have had no say in the transfer of Engage customers to Suits Me.
SuitsMe is not your only choice for pre-paid cards. We strongly encourage members to review the financial service provider options available to you. For those members who do not currently have I.D, if possible, use this period to obtain valid photo identification. Obtaining valid photo identification has the opportunity to improve your ability to access different financial services providers which may be more affordable or even free.
If obtaining valid ID poses a significant challenge for you, a Suits Me account may be a viable solution. Lloyds Bank also accepts various ID and address documents for account openings—more information can be found by clicking here.
If you already possess photo ID, there are a variety of bank accounts available that may offer similar or better services than Engage, potentially at no cost.
