Manchester Credit Union is delighted to offer a fixed term savings account for savers seeking a higher return who don't need frequent access to their money.

MCU Diamond Saver Account key features below:
- The account begins on 15th January 2024 and matures on 14th January 2025.
- This account is paid a fixed interest rate of 5% AER, paid upon maturity.
- Minimum balance to open the account and to keep it open is £1,000.
- MCU will allow 1 withdrawal per year as long as the balance does not fall below the minimum balance required. If the account falls below £1,000, the account will be closed and any interest entitlement will be forfeited.
- Maximum account balance is £85,000.
- Any request to withdraw funds from the account should be submitted via the message service in the Members Area.
